What
is the background of the Perfect Foot Corrector™ Orthotic?
The original mold was developed by a German
physiologist named George Alzner in 1948. Since that time the
Orthotic has
gone through a slight design change based on feedback from many customers. A
Mr. Hants White, from Maine, perfected the support after selling the
original design for a number of years. The design was not only updated, but
the material has been changed to a proprietary blend of several materials
that gives maximum support with some flexibility that will last for many
years, unlike most Orthotics. A less aggressive support has been designed as
well for those who have diabetes or sensitive feet. We are getting a 92% to
93% success rate, which is remarkable in this industry!
Are The Orthotics Hard?
The orthotics offer a stong support base, but they are not stiff and hard. These supports allow the foot to function with the needed support, but still allow the foot to move with some flexibility. Also, we have cushions that soften the step shock even more, as you are adjusting to wearing the orthotics. We have a Soft Moleskin Cushion, as well as a Thicker Foot Cushion that aid in more comfort with the soft cushioning that they provide.
What are my options if the Orthotic does not work
for me?
We offer a
three month trial period. If during this period you feel that a size
adjustment is needed or a different level of support is required, we work
with you. If we cannot totally satisfy you, at the end of the three months
trial period we offer a 50% money back guarantee or a 100% online store credit, for
shoes or any other foot related products that we offer.
Are other supports I see on TV the same as you are
offering?
No, they are not the exact shape or made of the
same materials. . As most people understand, you get what you pay for! Two
houses can look the same but the cost difference can be $100,000 for the
same house because of the workmanship and the materials it is made of. You
wouldn't purchase a mouth appliance designed for someone else if you wanted
to correct your overbite. You wouldn't purchase prescription eyeglasses
designed for someone else, if you wanted to correct your vision. So why
purchase a generic support that only offers 11 general sizes to fit every
foot on the globe?
Also, the idea of fitting supports to the individual according to their shoe
size many times is not correct. It is very common that the arch size and
shoe size are not the same. In addition, a person can have a different size
support on each foot, because their arches are not the same. What we do at Foot-O-Pedics is
custom fit the arch support to your feet. We have 21 different sizes to work
with and we also offer two different levels of support if one is too firm or
too soft. If the sizing is not perfect for you the first time, we will
resize you. If a change in the level of support is needed, we will correct
that as well. We will work with you until the appliance is right for you. If
we are not able to size our supports to your foot we will then
advise you to see a Podiatrist. Our personal goal is the well being of all
hurting people.
I am a diabetic, can I use the Perfect Foot Corrector™
?
Yes, we have the middle range support that
most any diabetic can use. It has more flexibility so that it contours with
the foot more easily then the more aggressive orthotic. (However, there are
varying factors that would allow a diabetic to wear the stronger support as
well. With our mail order kit, we have a
questionnaire form enclosed which gives us additional information about
you).
We also offer a soft
moleskin cushion
as well as a thicker foot cushion
which makes the adjustment more comfortable and also keeps
the support from slipping.
How old do you have to be before you can size a
young person?
We have sized people as young as 7 years old
that have good size feet. Our sizes start at size 3 women's size and go up
to size 14 or 15. If the child's foot can fit in one of our molds the system
will work great for them. Instead of having a mold done of the foot, we can
custom fit the foot and the child has a chance to try them on to see how he
or she likes them. We offer a $35.00 discount to young people whose feet are
still growing because they will need to be re-fitted in a few years. This is
an exceptional device to keep your children's feet and bodies in proper
alignment.
What about the insoles I can purchase at a drug
store for under $20.00?
These insoles are not strong enough to hold up
for very long, especially if you are overweight. They are good shock
absorbers for 3 or 4 months, but do not take the place of a full support
system that actually changes the structure of your feet, and offers support to the arches supplying stability. If you have minor foot
problems they can work for some people, but, they will wear down and need to
be replaced over and over again, just like the tires on a car. With the
Perfect Foot Corrector™
, you get maximum support for many years. If you
have a problem with the support, we give you a new one. This product offers
you a great long term value for your hard earned dollars. The manufacturer
stands behind his product with your lifetime warranty. If you have a
problem, you return the support to Foot-O-Pedics, we will replace your
support and the manufacturer replaces our support.
How can one mold solve so many foot ailments?
The Perfect Foot Corrector™
is molded to be like the perfect foot.
It is a neutral appliance that supports the four arches of the human foot
and positions all the bones, ligaments, muscles and tendons of a human foot
into proper place, taking the pressure off the balls of your feet, toes, and
heel. Also it gives the individual a strong longitudinal support. The mold
will change your foot to help correct the problems.
How
do the feet relate to the other problems that I have with my ankles, knee,
hip, back and shoulder pains?
Structural imbalance of the foot causes the
heel to roll, ankle and leg to turn, the shin becomes more prominent, the
tendons become displaced. Result, the muscles and ligaments are forced to
work harder and longer and out of step with other muscle groups, keeping the
bones and joints improperly aligned throughout the body. |
